The existing house was broken up in a way that made circulation between rooms seem unnatural and laborious. By removing a few key walls， reorganizing the spaces， and updating all of the finishes， including new quarter-sawn oak flooring throughout， the house was transformed into a comfortable， modern space for living and gathering.
