Tangshang Science Museum & Youth Palace

The Project includes the Science Museum, 4D cinema, and Youth Palace which are organised by Lorenz circulation system internally and externally. These dynamic movements generate a force field on the site where was the airport and is developing to part of “green axis” of the new city. The continuous Lorenz looping system distribute the programs based on crowd movement, which integrate the main series of  spaces in the science museum such as lobby, temporary exhibition, and permanent exhibition. With the same logic, the auditorium, entertainment, and classrooms in the youth palace also are form a internal Lorenz circulation system.
Several atrium spaces are also generated by those movement. The  roofs  of the atrium are covered by solar panels which can orientate with sunlight accordingly. The openness of the modulated panels can be used for controlling the internal ventilation.
The overall buildings are lifted to create a open public landscape, these “muchroom”like geometries are allow the wind to go through to integrate the site to the green axis of the new Tangshang.

唐山科技馆及青少年宫

三块卵石形状的建筑以基于漩涡状星云的洛仑兹系统为法则,组合并建立循环系统。
科技馆以序厅,临时展厅,和常设展厅为主要空间,以8字形的洛仑兹系统为内部组织系统; 青少年宫主要以会堂,娱乐健身,和科普活动教室为主要功能,形成内部三叶草型的洛仑兹循环系统。
在这些由洛仑兹系统为组织的主要空间上部,是屋顶可调控的太阳能集热板系统,不单充分利用了能源,而且创造了内部空间可调节的光环境和气流循环体系, 同时也进一步强化了内部空间动势和洛仑兹循环系统。
整体悬浮起来,底层面向公众开放,对自然地貌的模拟,以蘑菇石的形态来建立对场地,对生态的要求。创造出一个完整的生态公园。
