对于二线三线城市，建设和塑造商业综合体的核心命题之一，源自对城市密度的渴望。高密度的都市生活意味着集约高效、充满活力，也更有利于实现标志性的建筑场所。CCDI设计、目前正在建设实施中的南通圆融中心，在不久的将来，为这座在长三角经济圈气势活跃的城市带来全新的都市场所体验，也一定是南通首屈一指的建筑名片。

设计构思来源于“钻石”的永恒美学。通过“钻石”在不同光线条件下折射出的尊贵感，表现圆融广场在南通的地标价值与高端品位。以“钻石”的 “三角形”切面为母题，闪耀于建筑的各个角落。通过对“三角“钻石单元的组合变幻，形成建筑的设计亮点。圆融广场的大屋面设计就由若干“三角” 钻石单元拼合而成，渐变的色彩犹如钻石各个角度折射的光影；流动的形体又柔化了钻石自身的坚硬感。它们或透明或镂空，或结合建筑或互动景观，飘逸灵动、轻舞飞扬。每当夜晚降临，人们抬头仰望，每片“钻石”的光芒都宛若星空繁星点点，高雅而时尚，品质感十足。钻石屋面还延伸至建筑各入口，既作为遮风避雨的设施，又提供大面积的“城市客厅”空间。在圆融广场主入口处，更是植入“下沉式广场”，提升地下一层商业价值的同时，形成了更长的城市展开面和更广的城市开放空间，是城市居民休憩停留的绝佳场所

项目基地位于南通市崇川区的城市黄金地段，是新老城区的交汇点。项目地上部分由六层（局部7层）的商业及26层的公寓式酒店、45层的综合楼组成。商业部分由主力百货及零售商业组成，其中，地下一层为超市和零售空间，1-3层由零售+主力店的商业业态组成，4层为餐饮，5层为KTV、健身房及IMAX电影院，6-7层为大型餐饮。公寓式酒店位于地段北侧。地段中部布置超高层综合楼，7-32层为办公，33-45层为酒店。

Nantong Harmony City Complex is a business complex project combining with shopping center, department store, business office building, apartment hotel and noble house. The project base, located in golden location of Chongchuan area of Nantong city, is an intersection of new and old urban area.

The ground part of this project consists of six floors business (partial 7 floors), 26 floors apartment hotel and 45 floors complex building. The business part consists of main department store and retail business, among which, the first floor of underground is super market and retail space; floor 1 to 3 consist of retail and main store’s commercial activities; floor 4 is restaurant; floor 5 is KTV, gym and IMAX cinema; floor 6 to 7 are large catering. Apartment hotel is located in the north of section. Super-high layer complex building is set up in the middle of section; floor 7 to 32 of which are used for office and floor 33 to 45 is hotel.

Design concept roots in eternal aesthetics of “diamond”. Though the honor feeling reflected in different light conditions, show Nantong Harmony City Complex’s landmark value in Nantong and high-end taste. Taking “triangle” section of “diamond” as matrix, the diamond glitters in every corner of the building. Through combination changes to “triangle” diamond units, form design highlight of building. The large roof design of Nantong Harmony City Complex consists of “triangle” diamond units. Gradient color is like light and shadow reflected by every angle of diamond; flowing form soften diamond’s hard feeling. They are transparent or hollow out, or combine with the architecture or interact with landscape, elegant and flexible, dancing cheerfully. When night comes, people look up; every piece of “diamond” light is like the stars in the sky, elegant and fashionable, with enough quality feeling. The diamond roof also extends to the entrance to building, not only as the facilities of preventing wind and rain, but also provides large area space of “city parlor”. At the main entrance of Nantong Harmony City Complex, implant “sinking plaza”, while promoting the commercial value of a underground floor, forms longer city developed surface and broader urban space, which is a best place for urban residents to have a rest.
