英国伦敦的迪昂金丝雀码头酒吧
Bar Design: Dion Canary Wharf Bar by SHHSet within a historic building located at West India Quay in the Canary Wharf of London, the Dion Canary Wharf Bar is fresh to the eyes with its sleek and sexy new bar and restaurant design. The bar and restaurant interiors serves as the focal point of the establishment. Among the three store design for champagne and wine bar created by SHH under the brand Dion, this is the first to feature a fresh interiors concept. Its commercial design markedly deviated from the first two outlets located at St. Paul’s and Leadenhall Street in the middle of the city. It has become the “flagship venue” according to Dion’s owner Jo Chalker. The new bar and restaurant has a capacity of 360 people occupying both the lower ground and upper ground level of the space and the extension of the bar to the entrance area – Veuve Clicquot Terrace – bordered by bamboo designs and outlined by tented marquees. SHH design a shop not only limited to the interior design and architecture but also complemented the design with new menus, signage and matchboxes.
The fascinating past of the location of Dion’s Canary Wharf Bar – West India Quay building – and the amazing store design created by SHH made this bar and restaurant a great place to visit. The West India Quay building was built in 1802 at the apogee of the slave trade. During its era, it reigned as the most advanced and largest building which is just one of the nine buildings in series.
The Canary Wharf Bar accentuates Dion’s standing in luxury and prestige which creates an untouchable sophistication in the design’s point of view. The new bar retains the key features of the original warehouse while emphasizing the modern era through the different patterns, color and use of materials. Thus, the original building’s features still float in the backdrop without compromising the modernity of the designs.
